Quotes from the Word
1. “If you love me, keep my commandments.” John 14: 15
Jesus was speaking to His Disciples in the Upper Room!
2. “Jesus Wept.” John 11: 35
Jesus was weeping for Jerusalem!
3. “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he gets old he will not depart from it. ” Proverbs 22: 6
Early training in a child’s life has a great affect on his/her future!
4. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
Paul is teaching us that sin deserves death, but Christ has a gift of eternal life to anyone who believes in Jesus!
5. “Am I my brother’s keeper?” Genesis 4: 9
Cain was answering God’s question about Abel; Cain didn’t want to claim the responsibility for Abel’s death!
6. “Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.” Matthew 5: 5
Jesus was teaching in The Sermon on the Mount that meekness has a greater value to God than power!

Jesus will help anyone who is in the Will of God!

“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil.” “and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.” Psalm 23 These are the first, middle and last verses of the 23rd Psalm. Jesus is our Shepherd, Jesus overcame death and we will live in His house forever! Praise God!
9. “Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak,” Matthew 26: 41
Jesus is telling His Disciples that their intentions were good but their discipline was weak!
10. “This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it,” Psalm 118
The Lord takes care of things we take for granted!
11. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3: 23
This simply means NO ONE can measure up to God’s meaning of perfection!
12. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28
God will always help you in the very best way by His Will!

Anyone who receives Jesus will become a child of God!

We are all with sin and Jesus knows that better than anyone!

The powerful and rich will be last in Heaven and the meek and lowly will be first in Heaven.
